Oliver Wyman, Orange and Mercer have jointly developed a white paper based on more than thirty discussions with HR directors from large French as well as Global corporations, in addition to universities specialized in social, human and management sciences.
The objective of this white paper is to understand the mega trends that will impact and transform the Human Resources function over the next decade, and evaluate how its mission, role and reach will evolve as a consequence. This white paper consists of three parts:
- Major trends underlying ongoing demographic, technological, sociological and cultural transformations
- Impact on HR in terms of the required demands and transformations of its role, with ‘best practices’ examples
- The potential reinvention of HR communities to integrate these trends and their impact
This report aims to present some ideas to feed the minds of those in charge of HR and responsible for transforming the organization, and especially those who are willing to embrace the future.
