CAPA Asia Aviation Summit Kuala Lumpur

The CAPA Asia Aviation Summit 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, hosted by Malaysia Airports, is part of Centre of Aviation (CAPA)’s regional summit series. This event is highly regarded as an important platform for aviation, travel, and transport experts and thought leaders to share best practices, discuss solutions, and network within the industry.

This year, the summit featured interactive discussions touching on the latest aviation issues such as sustainability, adopting new technologies, supply chain disruptions, fleet and cargo demand, post-pandemic travel boom, and more. The event was attended by the top leaders and executives from local and regional aviation companies and public organizations, and included networking sessions, an innovation roadshow, and a gala dinner to award sustainability champions in the region.

Panel discussion: Asia Pacific aviation – ensuring the system is working on time

Oliver Wyman participated in a panel discussion focusing on the performance of the regional air travel sector as the rapid recovery of passenger traffic during 2022 saw a spike in operational disruptions globally. This spike led to queues in airports, delays and cancellations for airlines, and disgruntled travelers.
