Andre Martins On The Abu Dhabi Maritime Sector

The rapid expansion of ports in the United Arab Emirates’ capital aims to boost logistics and tourism across the country and therefore plays a key role in the country’s diversification agenda. 

“The logistics and transportation sector is the backbone of an economy. And therefore, as part of any diversification agenda, and the needs to enable other sectors to grow, (...) logistics is a vital sector to allow and to foster that growth.” said André Martins, Transportation and Services lead for India, the Middle East and Africa, in an interview with CNN.
