Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Date: October 26–29, 2026

Overview

The annual Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference, held in Riyadh, on October 26–29, 2026, is celebrating its inaugural tenth edition, attracting more than 7,000 delegates, including high-profile heads of state, CEOs and international investors, with more than 500 speakers over four days.

We are proud to have supported FII since its inception a decade ago, and as a knowledge partner, we will deliver multiple sessions during the Family Offices Mini-Summit on October 28, focused on how family offices are evolving as global investors, strategic capital partners, and long-term allocators in a more complex investment environment.

How family offices are building resilience through liquidity and capital allocation, powered by Oliver Wyman

Family offices are exploring ways to enhance resilience across portfolios, operating assets, and long-term commitments. Amid geopolitical volatility, families are reassessing liquidity needs, determining what to monetize or retain and shifting their investment focus from legacy sectors to growth areas such as AI, the energy transition and private markets. In this session, we dive into how family offices can effectively balance patient capital with liquidity and flexibility in this environment. Invite-only event.

How family offices can bring value to top frontier AI leaders

As global private investment in AI accelerates, competition is intensifying for access to the companies shaping the technological frontier. MENA family offices can offer AI leaders more than capital, bringing patient investment horizons, trusted regional networks, market access, and connections across energy, infrastructure, and institutions. In this session, we explore how family offices can position themselves as strategic gateways to MENA’s capital, capabilities, and ambitions while helping AI companies scale across rapidly growing markets. Invite-only event.

East meets Gulf — Building the next avenues for family capital partners

Some of the world’s largest pools of family-controlled wealth are located across Asia and the GCC, sharing a long-term investment mindset but bringing different networks, capabilities and access to opportunities. Asia is home to more billionaires than any other region globally, while the GCC is experiencing one of the fastest expansions of family office and private wealth activity worldwide. Asian and GCC families could achieve more by moving beyond capital allocation to deeper partnerships, co-investment, and shared access to their respective markets.

What happens when capital, values and time horizons align

Family offices are uniquely positioned to deploy capital across generations, pursue opportunities beyond traditional investment horizons and align financial decisions with deeply held values. Their ability to remain patient through market cycles can provide a powerful advantage in areas requiring sustained commitment, from private markets and infrastructure to innovation and impact. How family offices translate this combination of patience, purpose and alignment into superior long-term value, without compromising performance, governance or legacy.

How family offices can turn AI into a lasting edge

Artificial intelligence is reshaping both how family offices invest and how they operate. Already, 65% have invested across the AI value chain, from data centers and semiconductors to software platforms. Their patient capital and flexible mandates offer a natural advantage, but high valuations, limited specialist talent and rapid technological change complicate investment decisions. Family offices can transform AI into a lasting investment and operational advantage, rather than remaining dependent on the same platforms and managers as everyone else.
