FinSec25: Finance And Security Conference 2025
Events

FinSec25 Conference

Location: London, UK Date: February 11-12, 2025

Overview

As we enter a world of less free trade and more government intervention in markets, geopolitics can no longer be an afterthought for CEOs. Amid ever-evolving geopolitical events and complex sanctions, governments, boards, and senior management teams must make strategic decisions to navigate risks.

FinSec25, hosted in London, will bring together the Royal United Services Institute’s international network of stakeholders to address the evolving dynamics at the intersection of finance and security. The conference marks the 10th anniversary of RUSI’s Centre for Finance and Security (CFS), and will reflect on a decade of research, charting the way forward for addressing the urgent and rising threats posed by economic crime and illicit finance from state and non-state actors.

The event will host policymakers, law enforcement, and private sector representatives to discuss how to tackle rising financial crime threats, make sanctions more effective, and create solutions that integrate responses to economic crime and illicit finance into the security landscape.

Oliver Wyman is proud to be a lead sponsor of FinSec25 and a member of the CFS at RUSI’s Partnership Forum, helping policymakers and financial institutions navigate, adapt, and respond to the ever-evolving impact of sanctions and geopolitical change.

We will also take part in RUSI’s concurrent research event on 12 February, ‘UK Sanctions Strategy: One Year On’, which will evaluate the UK government’s progress in aligning with the ambitious commitments of its first Sanctions Strategy.
