Adriene Bailey Honored In Women Of Influence In Rail Award

Partner and Americas head of rail and public transit Adriene Bailey was recognized in Progressive Railroading’s Women Of Influence In Rail. The inaugural award is given to transformational female leaders within the rail and public transit industry.

As the head of rail for the Americas, Adriene leads industry efforts to position rail as the primary mode of freight delivery and transportation within North America. In addition to working with industry-defining companies, she has also served as the keynote speaker at RailTrends, the premier rail industry conference for the Americas hosted annually in New York City. Adriene recently published a report on long-term shareholder growth, detailing the need for sustained service quality and a competitive customer experience that meets the demands of shippers, in turn pulling market share away from the trucking industry.

Widely recognized as one of the industries brightest minds, Adriene often contributes to outside publications such as Time Magazine, Railway Age, Trains.com, and the Journal of Commerce, noting the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities transit faces, specifically focusing on the digital transformation and technological advancements that can continue to push the growth agenda.

Adriene has worked in various leadership roles over the past 30 years with transportation companies,serving sub-industries from railroads to intermodal, truck brokerages, international freight forwarding and contract logistics. She holds an MBA in strategic management from the Wharton School, as well as a bachelor's degree in systems engineering from Princeton.
