Julian Granger-Bevan Named Heroes Advocate Execs Role Model

We’re proud to announce that our digital partner, Julian Granger-Bevan, has been included in the Heroes 35 Advocate Executives Role Model List 2023. This recognition is for leaders who are championing women in business and driving change for gender diversity in the workplace.

Since the start of 2022, Julian has sponsored an initiative to certify Oliver Wyman Australia as a Family Inclusive Workplace™, working with the Human Capital team to complete the submission, review the effectiveness of current policies and practices in place against the National Work and Family standards, and establish the action plan. Since 2022, Oliver Wyman Australia has:

  • Introduced a new paid parental leave scheme for its employees that provides both primary and secondary carers 26 weeks paid leave, recognizing the importance of a workplace that is accessible, inclusive, and supportive for all parents.
  • Embedded Reintegre8 to ease the return from parental leave. Parents can work four days a week for full pay for the first eight weeks after their child’s birth.
  • Continued to improve family-friendly initiatives such as flexible work support.
  • Seen a reduction in turnover based on improved flexibility around family needs.

In addition, Julian has sponsored the Australia-wide Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), ensuring that key ERGs are well led and supported. He promotes cross-ERG initiatives, sharing best practices within groups, and providing visibility of the ERGs to the market senior leadership team.

Diversity helps us deliver a stronger impact for clients by bringing different perspectives on a challenge. I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to help us get there through Oliver Wyman
