MENA Energy Forum

Location: Virtual Date: September 27-28, 2022

Overview

The MENA region has about 57% of the world’s oil reserves and 41% of natural gas resources. However, with rapid urbanization, economic growth, and the rising population; there is an increase in the demand for energy. The existing infrastructure is facing a lot of pressure and calls for new investments to meet the growing demands.

Given that the MENA region is a major global energy player, the two-day forum organized by Informa Connect aims at putting in place the necessary building blocks to further strengthen the region. The forum will also discuss the role of critical factors influencing the MENA energy landscape like the ambitious economic diversification plans, energy security, policies, move to achieving net-zero, the energy supply chain, investments, and the In-country value. Volatility of the global market will also be one of the major points of discussion.
