Oliver Wyman Continues Government Consulting Practice Build

Oliver Wyman continues to build up its government consulting practice with the hire of former senior Scyne Advisory and PwC Australia partner Tim Jackson. The move means Oliver Wyman’s government and public institutions practice, which was launched with a new office in Canberra in May, now has a team of 25.

The firm has also made other strategic hires amid steady demand for its services. Jim Murphy, a former chief of staff to then-Labor Queensland premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and chief executive of Queensland Treasury, is now a senior advisor at the firm. In addition, Louise Portelli, who has held several senior chief customer officer roles across the industry, has also become a partner at Oliver Wyman.
