Oliver Wyman Selected as Top Employer for Young People in Canada

TORONTO, February 9, 2018 - Oliver Wyman has been selected as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People in 2018 by Mediacorp Canada.
Canada’s Top Employers for Young People is an editorial competition that recognizes the best workplaces for young people starting their careers. Each employer is evaluated in terms of their success in attracting and retaining young employees to their organizations based on the initiatives and programs they provide. These include a range of benefits, such as tuition assistance and the availability of co-op or work-study programs. These also include each employer’s mentorship, training, and career management programs, that help younger workers to advance faster in the organization.

Oliver Wyman offers internships that typically range from 6 to 8 weeks and features a regional orientation, usually hosted in New York at the company's head office -- throughout the duration of their term, interns are staffed on client projects across North America, including Boston, Chicago, Montreal and San Francisco.
Oliver Wyman provides a number of unique opportunities for employees to gain experience, including rotations with the firm's parent company, and non-profit fellowships, which allow employees to work with a non-profit organization for up to 6 months while receiving a stipend of up to 40% of their base salary.
Oliver Wyman recently launched its third annual global innovation competition to encourage employees to develop new ideas to help clients -- 5 semi-finalists were flown to London to present their ideas to the company's leadership council and the winner received monetary compensation, as well as support to either publish or implement their idea.
