George Morris

Partner and Head of Wealth and Asset Management, Americas
George Morris is a Partner at Oliver Wyman and the Head of the Wealth and Asset Management practice in the Americas.

He has also played a leading role in Oliver Wyman's North American business development efforts, leveraging his 25 years of consulting expertise working with financial services clients.

His client work covers a wide variety of corporate issues.  George has worked extensively on risk-adjusted profitability and shareholder value-added measurement as well as enterprise-wide, integrated risk management covering credit, market, operating and insurance risks. His work has included business line and overall strategy development for leading North American banks.  He has developed new business systems to support growth strategies for consumer, small business, commercial real estate, middle market and large corporate banking.

He has written and spoken widely on the topics of risk-adjusted profitability and shareholder value-added measurement as well as enterprise-wide, integrated risk management covering credit, market, operating and insurance risks.  He co-authored a report entitled, "The Customer Value Imperative," which was published by the Risk Management Association (RMA), and has also spoken at the Bank Administration Institute’s Bank Marketing Conference and at several RMA conferences and roundtables.

George holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
