About the Event
Are you considering a career in consulting, or simply interested in finding out what the work is really like?
Oliver Wyman is coming to Warwick for an afternoon of interactive workshops, practical application support and opportunities to meet consultants from across the firm. You can register for one or more of three events depending on your interests and eligibility:
- Social Mobility CV Clinic (14:00-15:30) - get practical, personalised feedback on your CV from Oliver Wyman consultants, with advice on how to position your experience, strengthen your applications and avoid common pitfalls. You will also have the chance to ask questions about the recruitment process and what makes a strong consulting application
- Women's Case Workshop & Networking (16:00-17:30) - work through a consulting case with guidance from Oliver Wyman consultants, learn how to structure unfamiliar problems and build confidence ahead of future case interviews. The session will be followed by networking with consultants, giving you the opportunity to hear about their experiences and ask questions about life at the firm
- Presentation, Panel & Networking (18:00-19:30) - learn more about Oliver Wyman, the types of projects we work on and what a career in consulting can look like. Hear directly from consultants about their paths into the firm, day-to-day experiences and career development, put your questions to the panel, and meet the wider team during informal networking
The events are open to current University of Warwick students across all degree disciplines and years of study. Specific eligibility criteria apply to the Social Mobility CV Clinic and Women's Case Workshop, and places for these sessions are limited and will be allocated following review of applications.
Complete the short registration form to apply for as many of the events as you are eligible for and would like to attend. Applicants for the first two events will be contacted in advance of the campus visit to confirm whether they have been selected, together with further event details.
