The Next Systemic Financial Crisis — Where Might It Come From?

Location: Campus Westend, Casino Building, Frankfurt, and Online Date: 24 January 2023

Overview

On January 24 2023, the Institute for Law and Finance (ILF) presented the eleventh conference in their series on the future of the financial sector, organized by Andreas Dombret and Patrick Kenadjian. Oliver Wyman is proud to act as Knowledge Partner for the event.

The conference asked the question: The next systemic financial crisis — where might it come from? A distinguished group of senior representatives from the public and private sectors will discuss the issues around four major concerns:

  • What are the major macroeconomic factors the financial sector faces?
  • What are the challenges from crypto assets and cybersecurity?
  • What issues do non-bank financial institutions pose to financial stability?
  • What issues in particular affect the regulated service providers?

You can find the recordings from the event here.
