The European Diversity Awards recognize those individuals and organizations whose outstanding leadership has made a genuine difference to the equality, diversity, and inclusion agenda.
This year, Oliver Wyman has been shortlisted in five categories:
Employee Resource Group of the Year
EMPOWERED is our group for supporting racial and ethnic diversity. Lead by Jack Van Cooten in Europe, the team have enhanced the culture of Oliver Wyman, creating a better firm and community for all employees.
Community Project of the Year
Colleagues in our Warsaw office have been supporting displaced Ukrainian people by providing them with whatever they need the most: hostel accommodation, support in obtaining visas, tickets
for travel, food, supplies, and more. We have also continued our firm-wide efforts to recruit qualified candidates from refugee populations.
Diversity Team of the Year
In the UK, the Human Capital team have equalized parental leave across all genders, meaning that both paternity leave and adoption leave are now both 26 weeks, the same as maternity leave.
Social Mobility Award
We co-founded Pathways to Consulting with the Sutton Trust. This programme gives high achieving young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds information about and experience of the consulting industry.
Diversity in Technology Initiative of the Year
Oliver Wyman Digital has supported our inclusion on the Tech Talent Charter and led our ongoing relationship with WeAreTechWomen so we not only recruit more women into our Digital team but also provide more opportunities for them.
