Pathways To Consulting brought together Oliver Wyman, McKinsey, Bain, and BCG in a new programme for high-achieving students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The programme is run by the Sutton Trust and gives gives young people access to leading universities and employers. It supports the four enablers of social mobility identified by the Mayor’s Fund for London and Oliver Wyman: ability, aspiration, awareness, and access.

Students, who must attend, and have always attended, a state-funded, non fee-paying school or college are supported over two academic years to build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to go into higher education and the workplace.

The programme provided direct support to 100 students over two years and be scaled up to support more in the future.
