As a white man from a privileged background, Joe recognizes that he has a responsibility to use his powerful position to create positive change. Through this work he has been named one of WeAreTechWomen’s 2021 Men for Gender Balance.
In his role of Engagement Manager in our Public Sector and Policy team, a large part of Joe’s work looks inclusion and under-representation. He co-authored Alone together: Entrepreneurship and diversity in the UK, and UK Venture Capital & Female Founders. Additionally, Joe co-founded Men4Change, a network that seeks to actively engage men and other allies in reducing inequities at Oliver Wyman and in our society. He serves on the global committee of Oliver Wyman’s Women’s Network (WOW).
