The Environmental Center for Arab Towns and PwC, with the valuable support of the Dubai Municipality and the Arab Towns Organization, hosted their first virtual conference on AI and IoT for Sustainability and Environment.
Two leaders of Oliver Wyman, John Romeo and Anshu Vats, joined influential thought leaders during 2 sessions on November 17.

Artificial intelligence is evolving rapidly and will take an integral part of our daily lives, with enormous potential for achieving sustainable economic, social and environmental development.

The conference aimed at providing the following:

The AI City Readiness Index In The Middle East

Partner Anshu Vats, who leads the Public Sector and Policy Practice, held a presentation on the AI City Readiness Index in the Middle East. The Oliver Wyman Forum has conducted extensive global research on 105 cities to better understand the potential disruption brought by AI. Our goal: to move beyond admiring things like “smart cities” and start a data-informed conversation about how to address the very real opportunities and challenges of AI disruption.
