Energy analyst Paul Sankey joins Oliver Wyman as Senior Advisor

NEW YORK, March 20, 2026 — Oliver Wyman, a global leader in management consulting and a business of Marsh (NYSE:MRSH), today announced that Paul Sankey has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor to its Energy and Natural Resources practice.
Mr. Sankey brings more than three decades of experience spanning equity research, strategic advisory, and thought leadership on global energy markets. Prior to founding the independent oil and gas research firm, Sankey Research, he held senior equity research roles at leading financial institutions including Deutsche Bank, Wolfe Research, Mizuho Securities, and the International Energy Agency. He is also a frequent commentator on global energy markets and appears regularly in financial media including CNBC and Bloomberg.
Oliver Wyman’s Energy and Natural Resources practice advises leading energy companies, investors, and governments on strategy, operations, and risk across global energy markets. Mr. Sankey’s arrival comes at a time of heightened volatility and structural change in global energy markets. In his role as Senior Advisor, Mr. Sankey will advise Oliver Wyman’s Energy and Natural Resources practice and its clients on strategic issues including upstream and downstream portfolio strategy, capital discipline, energy market outlooks, and the evolving dynamics of global energy systems. He will also engage directly with clients through strategic dialogues, market briefings, and select advisory engagements. Sankey Research will continue to operate independently.
