Amit Mehta joins Oliver Wyman as Senior Advisor

NEW YORK, April 17, 2026 ─ Oliver Wyman, a global leader in management consulting and a business of Marsh (NYSE:MRSH) today announced the appointment of Amit Mehta as a Senior Advisor, effective immediately.
In this role, Mr. Mehta will focus his attention on advising clients and teams within the firm’s Banking and Financial Services practice as well as Quotient, the firm’s AI capability.
Oliver Wyman’s Banking and Financial Services practice helps banks and financial institutions transition from AI experimentation to enterprise-scale deployment, delivering responsible AI solutions that drive measurable business results. Leveraging deep industry expertise alongside advanced data, machine learning, and generative AI capabilities, the firm partners with clients to design, build, govern, and operationalize AI across the entire value chain – from setting up an operating model that scales to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing refinement of high-value AI use cases.

Mr. Mehta brings more than two decades of leadership experience at the intersection of banking, advanced analytics, and AI capability deployment. He has experience building, leading, and overseeing the development of technical teams focused on data and analytics deployment at enterprise scale in a highly regulated environment.
Most recently, Mr. Mehta served as a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase, where he led Data & Analytics, including AI strategy, for the International Consumer Bank. In this role, he built and led an 80-person multidisciplinary data organization spanning AI/ML modeling, analytics, experimentation, architecture, and governance. Prior to this, Mr. Mehta held senior strategy and financial risk management roles at Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, working across treasury, risk, resolution planning, and fixed income management. He started his career in banking and risk management at McKinsey & Company, where he was elected Associate Partner.
Mr. Mehta serves as Board Treasurer of Doctors Without Borders–USA and as a board member of Kainomyx. He has a Ph.D. in Biophysics from Stanford University and conducted postdoctoral research at Bell Labs.
