Lisa Quest And Huw Van Steenis On The UK Wealth Fund

The UK government is looking to firm up a structure for the UK’s National Wealth Fund, and has committed £7.3 billion to build it. Oliver Wyman co-authored the report lying foundations for this undertaking.

Lisa Quest, head of UK and Ireland commented on the future fund’s leadership for Bloomberg: “you do see salaries that are closer to market rates in order to attract individuals that have the type of track record that we’re looking for,” when it comes to other funds around the world.

Huw Van Steenis, vice-chair and partner, shared that he finds the speed of the work on the fund “a great signal to international investors.”

The parties involved in the creation and funding include the UK Infrastructure Bank, and the British Business Bank.
