City of London ‘Vision for Economic Growth’ Report

Oliver Wyman and the City of London Corporation launched a report titled, ‘Vision For Economic Growth: a roadmap to prosperity’.

The report is the result of months of collaboration with over 300 stakeholders from the public and private sectors to identify a set of ‘big moves’ to shift the dial on some of the most critical challenges impacting the financial and professional services sector and the UK economy overall.

Against a backdrop of challenging economic conditions and unprecedented international competition, the report identifies five key objectives to help the UK escape from a low-growth trap, and become a global challenges ranging from data to climate change. The initiatives put forth in the review could unlock over £225 billion in new investment for the economy.
