The Pentagon plans to acquire thousands of drones over the next two years that are able to gather intelligence and overwhelm enemy defenses, amongst other new features.
To achieve this, their plan must align with the current state of demand in the commercial aerospace market. According to Oliver Wyman, the intended volumes and variants of Replicator aircraft will require production capacity and flexibility not typically found in the defense industrial base.
