Eddison Lee, Principal, Energy and Natural Resources at Oliver Wyman, spoke to The Business Times on how global demand for biofuels is impacting Singapore’s Used Cooking Oil (UCO) prices, and the factors contributing to this trend.
In the article, he notes how there is difference in preferences between UCOs of varying sources. He expresses: “UCO with clear traceability and reliability of origin, such as UCO from restaurants, tends to command a premium among buyers”.
