Oliver Wyman Strengthens Its Transportation And Services Practice In Asia Pacific With Two New Partners

Sydney, February 20 2023 – Global consulting firm Oliver Wyman announces Douglas Carlucci and Andreas Hilz as partners in Oliver Wyman’s Transportation & Services (T&S) practice in the Asia Pacific region. They are joining the firm’s Sydney office.

“Our new partners signify strong demand in the T&S space and will further strengthen Oliver Wyman’s capabilities in Australia to help deliver breakthroughs to our clients. Andreas will be working closely with Doug who leads the practice and the wider T&S team across the Asia Pacific region,” said Ed Emanuel, Oliver Wyman’s Australia and New Zealand Market Leader.

Douglas Carlucci is a partner at Oliver Wyman and will lead Oliver Wyman’s Asia Pacific’s T&S practice. He has more than three decades of experience advising senior management of transportation companies across United States, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. Recently, he has helped clients navigate through large scale restructuring and transformation. He also worked with private capital firms interested in acquiring transportation assets. Prior to his current role in Sydney, he was based in San Francisco.

Andreas Hilz has more than two decades of experience in strategy consulting, having most recently worked as the acting Head of Strategy at Virgin Australia. Prior to this, he has worked as an Aviation Advisor, led the ANZ Aviation Practice in management consulting firms and ran his own aviation and loyalty consultancy. He is an internationally recognized expert in these fields and draws from his work experience in Europe, Middle East, China, Southeast Asia, Australia, and North America.

Oliver Wyman first launched in Australia in 2004. The firm is part of professional services giant Marsh McLennan.
