New York, NY, February 6, 2023 – Global management consultancy, Oliver Wyman, announced that Frances Ferguson has joined the firm as a New York-based Partner in its Corporate and Institutional Banking and Digital Practices.

Frances has 25+ years corporate leadership and management consulting experience. Before joining Oliver Wyman, Frances was CEO of Ferguson Advisors LLC, a firm focused on corporate strategy, operations innovation, and data analytics solutions. She has worked for top firms including BNY Mellon, Goldman Sachs, Capgemini, Accenture, and Booz Allen Hamilton. She has expertise in M&A strategy and post-merger integration, designing new go-to market models, delivering end-to-end process changes and regulatory compliance, and enabling digital strategies.
She was recently employed as Practice Leader and US East Head of Banking and Financial Services managing sizable P&L and organization for CGI, a $10B+ technology firm. She has advised early-stage clients including a mobile payments fintech and her accomplishments include introducing a trademarked payments card product and go-to-market mobile solution for COVID-19 emergency response.
Frances was previously Group Executive - Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Operations of the Financial Markets and Treasury Services Sector at BNY Mellon Bank where she led a global organization of executive managers and staff. Her sector represented a third of the Banks’s revenue and comprised six asset management and servicing businesses (12,000 FTEs and $3B global P&L). Earlier in her career, she also worked for Goldman Sachs in fixed income securities.
Frances holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton Business School, and a second Masters Degree from MIT. She has certifications from MIT in Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain Technologies’ business applications. Frances completed her undergraduate work at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Frances is an Independent Board Director with Glenmede Trust Company, a leading Investment and Wealth Management Firm, and SullivanCotter a leading Health Care Data Analytics firm. She recently competed three terms and nine years of service as a Board Director with the New York Cares organization. Frances is a twelve-year member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC). She is also a member of The Links, Incorporated and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She is a past three-term elected President of the New York Chapter of the National Black MBA Association.
