New York – Global management consultancy, Oliver Wyman, announced that Jason Zaler has joined as a San Francisco-based Partner in its Retail and Business Banking and Digital practices.

Most recently, Jason led Commercial Banking fintech strategy and corporate development at JPMorgan Chase. Prior to that, he was a senior leader in the Global Technology Strategy organization focused on driving Chase Digital’s innovation, product strategy, and inorganic growth. At Ping An Group, as the first stateside employee, Jason focused on developing commercial relationships for U.S. digital and enterprise firms entering the Chinese market, and advised the Ping An Voyager fund on venture investments. Jason started his fintech career at PwC as a founding member of its fintech practice. He served clients in the Americas, APAC, and EMEA with digital and innovation strategy initiatives, including multiple U.S. banking transformation projects and the design and launch of signature fintech innovation programs sponsored by regulatory regimes in Abu Dhabi, Singapore, and the UK. Jason holds an MBA from the University of California at Irvine and a BA from Northeastern University.
