New York, May 26, 2022 – Global management consultancy, Oliver Wyman, today announced that Pamela Root, former Chief Compliance Officer of Deutsche Bank AG, has joined as a Senior Advisor to its Compliance practice.

Pamela Root previously served as Chief Compliance Officer, Senior Advisor and Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, where she transformed the 900-person global department, automated control processes and established frameworks to manage compliance risk. Prior to Deutsche Bank, she was the global head of Citigroup’s Institutional Client Group Compliance Department. Before Citi, Pamela worked in a variety of compliance and legal roles at Goldman Sachs, most recently as Managing Director and General Counsel for Global Compliance. She started her career in the securities and banking practice groups at Sullivan & Cromwell. Pamela received her JD from New York University School of Law, where she was awarded Order of the Coif, and graduated cum laude with a BA from Bryn Mawr College.
