Oliver Wyman Welcomes Back James Wiener As Partner And Vice Chairman For Financial Services In The Americas

New York, February 24, 2022 – Oliver Wyman, the international management consultancy, today announced James Wiener has re-joined the firm as Partner and Vice Chairman for the Financial Services in the Americas.

From 2014 to 2021 Jim was a Senior Executive Vice-President and member of BNY Mellon’s Executive Committee.  During that period, he held a number of enterprise-wide roles including Chief Risk Officer, CEO of BNY Mellon NA and Chief Investment Officer.  From 1994 to 2014 he was a Senior Partner at Oliver Wyman Financial Services where he occupied several leadership roles including leading the North American Finance and Risk Management Practice and the Global Public Policy Practice.

Jim graduated in 1994 with a Ph.D. in Physics from Princeton University where the focus of his work was on High Energy physics.
