Ed Dolanski and Patrick Walsh Join Oliver Wyman as Senior Advisors

Dallas…Oliver Wyman announced today that Ed Dolanski and Patrick Walsh have joined the firm as senior advisors. Dolanski and Walsh join as Senior Advisors in Oliver Wyman’s Aerospace and Defense practice.

Ed Dolanski has 30 years of Fortune 50 business leadership experience within aerospace, supply chain/ distribution, industrial manufacturing and retail supply chain. Prior to Oliver Wyman, Ed was President of Boeing’s Government Services business, President/Chief Executive Officer of Aviall, Inc (a Boeing subsidiary), and Chief Information Officer at Raytheon. He also spent 14 years at Walmart in various information technology and supply chain management roles.
Ed studied at Vanderbilt Owen School of Management and holds a BA in Business Management from John Brown University. He is a member of Business Executives for National Security, a senior advisor with several private equity firms and serves on the boards of Filtari, Catalyze Dallas, 7Tunnels and The Cyber Future Foundation. He received the CEO Diversity Champion award from the Texas Diversity Council. Ed also holds a US Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance, Sensitive Compartmented Information, Special Access Program and other national security level program clearances.
Patrick Walsh is a retired, four-star Admiral. As the 59th Vice Chief of Naval Operations, he served as a member of the Deputy Secretary of Defense-led Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC), and provided testimony to the House Armed Services Committee, Senate Armed Services Committee, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and the Seapower Subcommittee. He has held significant leadership positions during his 34-year career including commanding the US Pacific Fleet, the largest naval force in the world, where he led the US military response to disasters across the region.
Prior to Oliver Wyman, Pat was Vice President of The Boeing Company, Global Services Navy Marine Corps Services business. Prior to Boeing, Pat was the Senior Vice President/General Manager at iSIGHT Partners, a FireEye Company, and President, Strategic Programs, Academic Partnerships, LLC.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from the US Naval Academy, a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy and Doctor of Philosophy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. He was a White House Fellow assigned to the Office of Management and Budget. Pat is the Chairman of the Board of Visitors, National Defense University, the Chairman of the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations, member of the Board of Directors for the East West Institute, and a Senior Fellow at Southern Methodist University.
