Reuters TV: James Davis Discusses The $1 Trillion Climate Risk For Financial Services

James Davis, Partner and lead author of our report Climate Change: Three Imperatives for Financial Services, spoke to Reuters TV on its findings and the future of sustainable finance.
The report highlights that the world’s financial services sector risks losses of up to $1 trillion if it fails to respond to climate change.
However, James pointed out that it’s not all bad news. He said: “We estimate sustainable finance is already worth $50 billion dollars to the industry as a whole and that would grow by $50-150 billion over the medium term.”
Pressure is now ramping up on the industry to better allocate capital to a low carbon economy.
