Financial Times: Jessica Clempner Discusses Diversity In Banking And Our Women In Financial Services 2020 Report

Jessica Clempner, principal and lead author of the Women in Financial Services 2020 report, discussed diversity in banking with the Financial Times.

The Financial Times highlighted that there has been measurable progress on measuring diversity in recent years. In fact, the proportion of senior women in finance is increasing faster than in most other sectors.

It went on to reference our report, saying that the 2019 tally of female executives is at 20 per cent but the proportion has doubled in the past 16 years.

Jessica commented: “It’s important to acknowledge the progress. More so than ever, there’s momentum. But we’re still a very long way from equality.”
