In collaboration with CDP Global, we've published major reports analyzing Europe's progress, and challenges, on its path to net zero. These reports leverage CDP’s extensive self-reported environmental data and our analytical expertise. The strategic insights and case studies within them provide senior executives with the knowledge needed to take action on their climate and nature-related impacts.
World Economic Forum
We are collaborate with the World Economic Forum across key initiatives, including "Financing the Transition to a Net Zero Future," "Sector Transitions to Nature Positive," and the "Partnership for Advancing Health in Climate Action." These efforts unite financiers, industry leaders, philanthropists, and public institutions to drive a net-zero, nature-positive future.
Utilities for Net Zero Alliance (UNEZA)
We proudly support the Utilities for Net Zero Alliance (UNEZA), guided by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). UNEZA works to overcome barriers in the power and utilities sector, driving emissions reductions and global net-zero goals. The Alliance fosters collaboration among key public and private stakeholders, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and climate action.
Glasgow Financial Alliance For Net Zero (GFANZ)
We served as the knowledge partner to the GFANZ Secretariat. Since 2021, more than 450 financial firms across 45 countries — managing over $130 trillion in assets — have committed to aligning their operations and financing with the 1.5°C target. GFANZ has published five reports to help financial institutions turn net-zero pledges into actionable, near-term, science-based transition plans.
UNEP Finance Initiative (UNEP FI)
We worked with UNEP FI to develop standardized analytical tools — such as scenarios, methodologies, and metrics — to help banks improve their assessment and disclosure of climate-related risks and opportunities. This enhances their ability to implement TCFD recommendations while fostering greater consistency and comparability in climate-related assessments across the sector.
Alliance for Industry Decarbonization (AFID)
As a member of AFID, we support the decarbonization of industrial value chains and the acceleration of net-zero ambitions in line with the Paris Agreement. We help companies develop and implement robust decarbonization strategies, foster knowledge exchange, and engage with global platforms to drive renewable energy adoption and climate action across industry sectors.

Breakthroughs
Climate Credit Analytics
We joined forces with S&P Global Market Intelligence to launch a first-of-its-kind climate credit solution to help financial institutions assess counterparty risk from a transition to a low-carbon economy. Climate Credit Analytics translates climate scenarios into drivers of financial performance tailored to each industry, such as production volumes, fuel costs and capex spending.
Partnering For A Green Transition
We worked with a major steel manufacturer and a large multi-utility company to define a partnership to drive the green transition. For each work stream, we provided a diagnostic assessment, industry benchmark, and project management. The result was that both parties agreed to a long-term power purchase agreement and targeting a 20% reduction in Scope 2 emissions by 2023.
Forecasting Biofuels Demand
We supported a European oil and gas company with forecasting their biofuel demand in the next 10-15 years and mapping which types of feedstock would be in demand/where the demand would come from. What made this project unique was that the strategy had optionality regarding the use of technology for use in future product mixes.
Innovative Financing Solutions
We worked with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), to develop a unique fund that leverages the environmental benefits of reforestation and cookstove projects to generate income on the rising carbon credit market. The solution will deliver social and environmental impact at unprecedented scale and duration, saving millions of trees per year, providing much-needed income to refugees and host communities.
Climate Vulnerability Assessment
We helped a leading Australian bank develop climate risk assessment models for its largest clients to comply with new supervisory guidelines and climate reporting requirements. The models gave our client a new way to quantify climate risk, enabling it to better assess and price risk as climate risks increase.
Setting Ambitious Climate Targets
We helped a large Asian general insurer set an ambitious green transition strategy. The client wanted to understand the current global trends and gaps in the climate and insurance landscape to move faster and further on climate. Through interviews with global experts and an extensive peer benchmarking study, we helped set mid/long-term targets for GHG emissions reductions and identify strategic priorities for action.
