Trust plays a pivotal role in getting people to change their habits. People who trust the broad healthcare ecosystem are more likely to follow recommendations made by a doctor or other health professionals, according to Carolyn Paul, Global Managing Director and EMEA Health Chair, Edelman. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to building trust, Paul said. Variation exists in the places people go for information and how they respond to recommendations.

The two also discussed how healthcare organizations should approach building trust with Gen Z.
