What We Do

Our work in Economic Development is centered across three core pillars: national development strategies, development enablers and accelerators, and development finance. This work is complimented by a set of cross-cutting functional capabilities supporting data-driven policymaking.

We bring global expertise and experience in delivering national economic strategies, localizing value chains and securing the necessary financing mechanisms. Together with clients we catalyze growth, foster finance innovation, and create opportunities to build better economies for the future.

National development strategies
We support governments in developing strategies at the national level across various topics, including innovation and growth, sector strategies, climate and regional development
Development enablers and accelerators
We enable our clients to deploy and accelerate their strategies: from privatization and public-private partnerships, to deals pipeline and activation, climate finance, investment and export promotion, to specific sectoral interventions
Development institutions
We support the effective running of investment promotion agencies, development banks, export credit agencies, innovation agencies and IP offices. This includes strategy and product design, governance and risk management, and evaluations
Functional capabilities
We use rigorous economic modelling, impact and sectoral analysis and data visualization, and run pilot economic interventions to enable our clients to make evidence-based decisions and understand their implications
