He brings over a decade of experience in strategic advisory and operational improvement work across the financial services universe, including banks, market infrastructures, and tech providers.
He supports clients on a range of topics, including growth acceleration, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), operational improvement programs, and post-merger integrations. Nikolai has contributed to some of the largest and most complex transformation programs in European financial services, with experience spanning the UK, Germany, and Switzerland in particular.

He brings a broad toolkit of levers and change management skills to ensure results are delivered front-to-back across the organization. This includes providing factual context and constructive challenge to client teams to help maximize value. Nikolai partners closely with experts across Oliver Wyman and engages a wide range of client stakeholders across business, finance, and risk to ensure the successful delivery of large-scale transformations.
He studied economics and financial economics at the London School of Economics and the University of Oxford. A proud father of two young children, Nikolai enjoys sports, cooking, and playing with his kids, as well as unwinding with a good book.
