In recognition of her dedication and commitment to promoting equality, advocating for diversity and inclusion, and supporting the next generation of women in the sector, Sumati Sharma has been presented with the coveted AeroTime Aviation Achievement Award.
Sumati has made it her mission to drive gender equality in the sector. She co-founded the Women in Aviation & Aerospace Charter, where signatory organisations commit to support the progression of women into senior roles and publicly report on progress against internal targets. Through her efforts, the Charter garnered more than 230 signatories in just three years.
