The Financial Times shared an article on how Shipping fears put store pickup at the core of online retailing. Retail Partner Marc Rousett explained:

For retailers which are still without a store pick-up service, launching [a store picking option] can be “somewhat costly” and “surprisingly hard to execute” because of labor shortages and the technology systems needed.
