Spotlight on Procurement’s Sustainability Progress

Implementing strategic change with a focus on ESG

Sustainable Procurement

Following our report from last year, Procurement’s Journey to Sustainability, we aimed to delve further into understanding the progress procurement is making in environmental, social and governance (ESG). In our previous analysis, we talked to more than 300 chief procurement officers worldwide, spanning all major industries.

To gauge their current level of maturity, we inquired about their perceived standing in each of the 12 areas highlighted in Oliver Wyman’s Sustainable Procurement Maturity Framework, specifically in terms of Track, Act, Impact, and Operate. We are now delving deep into these 12 areas to provide additional insights and practical advice.
