I have spent a large part of my consulting career helping C-suite executives, lenders, boards, and other stakeholders navigate through difficult situations. In distressed situations, one needs to have a sense of urgency, be focused, and be intentional—just like a firefighter, if you waste time trying to figure out what caused the fire, you risk burning down the house.
