Marc is a senior principal in Oliver Wyman’s Actuarial practice.
He brings extensive experience across the insurance industry, having worked as a company, consulting, and auditing actuary for insurers, Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, managed care organizations, regulators, and government agencies.
Marc specializes in accident and health insurance, with experience spanning medical, long-term care, long-term disability, and supplemental health products. His work includes pricing and valuation, financial modeling, reserving, budgeting, cash flow testing, and actuarial systems development.
Working across insurers, regulators, and government organizations has taught me the value of looking at a challenge from multiple perspectives before deciding on the right path forward
He also advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, supporting due diligence through reviews of reserves, pricing, and underwriting. His broader experience includes public policy and regulatory work, as well as internal and external audits of insurers, managed care organizations, and self-insured plans.
Marc is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
