Kilian is a principal based in our Zurich office, working across the Banking and Financial Services and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practices. He partners with leading banks, wealth managers, asset managers, and the broader capital markets ecosystem. While his core focus is the DACH region, his client portfolio spans Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific.
He specializes in guiding clients through transformative shifts — developing growth strategies, initiating market entry, implementing comprehensive performance transformation programs, and redesigning operating models. He leads projects across the full transaction lifecycle, from pre-deal advisory and commercial due diligence to post-merger integration, working closely with client teams to ensure seamless execution.

Before joining Oliver Wyman, Kilian worked in transaction advisory services, where he honed his expertise in navigating complex deal environments. He is a regular contributor to Oliver Wyman’s flagship reports, sharing insights and analyses that reflect industry trends and challenges.
Kilian holds an MA in strategy and international management from the University of St. Gallen, where he focused his thesis on post-acquisition integration choices in the technology sector. Prior to this, he completed a BA in philosophy and economics from the University of Bayreuth.
Beyond his professional commitments, Kilian enjoys tennis, road cycling, and engaging in philosophical and political discourse.
