Douwe is a senior vice president at Oliver Wyman and co-founder of Innopay, a business of Oliver Wyman focused on digital transactions.
He is a thought leader in the digital transactions ecosystem. With his long-standing industry experience and insights into electronic and mobile payments, e-invoicing and e-identity, Douwe has helped to shape countless breakthrough business and market innovations, standards and data-sharing schemes.
He is particularly passionate about the topic of "digital sustainability": empowering businesses and individuals to have greater control over their data and promoting digital trust. His focus is on enabling data to be easily, safely, and transparently reused across the digital universe.

Douwe co-authored the book "Everything Transaction," which was voted "Management Book of the Year 2019" in its Dutch version.
Outside of the office, Douwe enjoys spending time with his family and actively works on improving his skills as a jazz musician. Additionally, he finds pleasure in activities such as running, cycling, sailing, and skiing.
