Derek is a vice president with Oliver Wyman Vector, bringing more than 25 years of experience across aviation, aerospace, and transportation.
He specializes in cost transformation, helping clients improve performance through cost reduction, operational improvement, process redesign, strategic sourcing, and financial and operational analysis. His work also includes due diligence and support for labor negotiations, giving him a broad perspective on the commercial and operational decisions that shape performance.

Derek has worked primarily across the aviation sector, including airlines and aftermarket services, as well as surface transportation. His experience combines consulting with industry roles, allowing him to bring a practical understanding of how operational change is implemented.
Before joining Oliver Wyman, Derek worked at American Airlines, Ernst & Young, and The Hackett Group.
He holds an MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and a BS in civil engineering from the University of Florida.
