Chris Allchin is a Partner in Oliver Wyman’s financial services practice, based in London.

He joined Oliver Wyman in 2002 and has worked across a broad range of assignments for banks, market infrastructure providers and fintechs in the US, Europe and Asia. Chris has also worked in the energy and healthcare sectors during his time at Oliver Wyman.  

Chris has authored many publications for Oliver Wyman, including Time to Start Again, Modular Financial Services, reports on the use of blockchain in financial services, our European banking report, and papers on innovation in corporate banking.

Chris is the Chair of Celent, the financial technology research provider. He leads Oliver Wyman’s social impact programme in London, overseeing the firm’s work with charities and other third sector organisations. He is a keen cyclist and likes to get to as much live music as he can. He is trustee of Pursuing Independent Paths, an organization that supports adults with learning disabilities to achieve their potential.
