Following the UK referendum vote to leave the EU, we have produced a fact base to quantify the possible impacts of Brexit on the UK financial services sector.
Commissioned by TheCityUK, the report analyses a suite of information around the financial services industry to model exactly what it looks like today, and what different regulatory and access outcomes from Brexit could do to it.
The modelling includes a breakdown of where the business is transacted – domestically, at a European level, and internationally – and provides broad estimates of changes to the number of jobs the sector can support in the UK, its contribution to tax income, and added value to the UK economy.
