Adriene Bailey Rejoins Oliver Wyman As A Partner In Transportation Team

Dallas …. Oliver Wyman announced today that Adriene Bailey has rejoined the firm as a Partner in the firm’s transportation practice. She will be based in the Dallas office. Bailey was previously with Oliver Wyman from 1985 until1992.

Prior to rejoining Oliver Wyman, Bailey was a Principal at Brooks Davis Consulting, and served as Executive Director – Program Development & Curriculum for the Transportation Institute at the University of Denver.
She was previously Senior Vice President and General Manager of Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc.’s (YLA) Transportation Group where she was responsible for the company’s Intermodal and Truck Brokerage products in North America, as well as serving as a member of the Board of Directors at Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc.
She also served as Chief Strategy Officer for YLA and was responsible for the overall strategy of the US company including M&A initiatives and representing the Americas Region on the Global Strategy Team.
She has more than 25 years’ experience in the transportation and logistics serving in leadership roles at well-established organizations in the rail, intermodal and management consulting sectors including Pacer International, CSX Transportation and Southern Pacific Railroad.
Bailey earned a Master in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Princeton University.
She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Transportation Institute at the University of Denver (DTI) where she previously served as its Chair, is a member and immediate past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA). Additionally, she sits on the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Transportation Advisory Council and serves on the Board of Directors of Stuart Dean – a private company dedicated to preserving the value of commercial and historically important buildings.
