Los Angeles Times: Joern Buss On Electric Vehicles In The US

Oliver Wyman partner Joern Buss was quoted in a Los Angeles Times story titled “At Jerry Brown's Climate Summit, One Deadline Will Overshadow All the Others.”  The article is focused on what the shift toward electric vehicles in Europe and Asia means for the US.

The Chinese auto market is already approaching the size of the entire U.S. and European markets combined, and soon will dwarf them. If auto companies fail to reorient their strategies toward electrification, said Joern Buss, a Detroit-based auto industry consultant with the firm Oliver Wyman, they risk losing huge market share to upstart Chinese competitors.
