He has extensive experience in credit, risk management, distressed assets management, regulations and supervision, working with market leaders across Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Russia, Greece, USA, UK, Turkey, South Africa, and the Middle East.

He enjoys delivering projects that have a tangible impact on the client’s performance and the market. Some of his notable projects include conducting an unprecedented asset quality review of more than 700 people and 45 appraisal firms for a country; helping a country and its banks navigate the COVID-19 crisis; and delivering complex products to the market end-to-end (from zero to actual deals).
When he is not working, Maksim likes to travel and explore new places. He also likes to train his Boeing 737 pilot skills on full flight simulators.
