Yasuyuki (Yash) is a partner in our Insurance and Asset Management Practice, based in Tokyo.
He brings extensive expertise across the property and casualty, as well as the life and health insurance sectors. His experience spans capital management, enterprise risk management, asset-liability management, and the strategy and governance of international insurance businesses, including mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Yash’s career background includes online securities brokerage and banking.

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Yash held senior management roles at a leading property and casualty insurance group in Tokyo and Singapore.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Tokyo and a master’s degree in management technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management.
Outside of work, Yash enjoys traveling and discovering delicious local foods.
