Yannick is a Principal in Oliver Wyman’s Sydney office, focusing on strategy, organizational design and sustainability work, and specializing on utilities, mining, and mining services industries.
I help our clients, particularly in the energy and natural resources space, think about how climate and energy transition will reshape their industry, surfacing risks, and providing opportunities for climate forward organisations.
Yannick’s work has most often focused on strategy and organizational effectiveness to support strategy delivery. Yannick is the lead author of multiple reports and insights including Driving Sustainability in the Resources Sector, ESG in Mining – The Lay of the Land.
Yannick has a Masters (Distinction) in public policy from the University of Oxford, and a B.A. (1st Hons) in political science and ancient history from the University of Western Australia.
My academic background is in political science and ancient history; both fields where source information and data should be treated with a very high degree of skepticism! I think this background has prepared me well for consulting, where understanding source motivations and piecing together the true story is a critical skill.
